Photon AU 1.01

Photon AU is a Midi Recorder that offers Pad playback and Groove functionality. Please note that a compatible host app is required to run this AUv3 midi application, such as AUM, Audiobus, apeMatrix, or Cubasis. The standalone version is solely for manual operations and file imports.

With Photon AU, you can record your midi performances from a keyboard, sequencer, or arpeggiator within your DAW and then save or export them as standard midi files via email or directly to other applications.

If you prefer to load midi files using Airdrop, the standalone version supports this feature. Simply select your track to import in the AU version. You can load up to six pads with midi file data and play them back with variations in transposition, loudness, tempo, and start/duration defined parts.

There is an option to load a midi file as a Groove file, allowing it to replace timing or velocity in your recorded or loaded midi file. This feature helps in conforming your buffer midi to the groove pattern for effects like trancegate.

An iPhone version is in the pipeline and will be released soon as a universal app for wider accessibility.
